About Chef Angela Tlack

Driven by a passion for food and cooking, Chef Angela Tlack graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan with Highest Honors. Angela pursued unique opportunities to afford a broad spectrum of experience with both customers and food. She began by working special events at her school. There, she assisted head chefs with food preparation and students with hands-on instruction. She really got her feet wet at a local on-premise banquet caterer, specializing in weddings. From there, Angela worked with Great Expectations off-premise catering in NYC, cooking for up to 11,000 guests! A foodie to the bone, she later became an Associate Team Leader for Whole Foods in their Specialty Foods Department. She’s even worked for Jonathan White, a prestigious cheesemaker on Bobolink Dairy Farm in Vernon, NJ!

Chef Angela has also done volunteer cooking, including James Beard House events. Chef Angela is married to husband, Chris. They live in Morris Plains, NJ with their Basset Hound, Jed. Both Chris and Jed are very happy to be Angela's guinea pigs whenever she tries out a new recipe!
