Q. What is a Personal Chef?

A. Not to be confused with "Private Chefs", Personal Chefs are somewhat new to the professional food service industry. Whereas a Private Chef is usually a salaried employee of one family, a Personal Chef serves several clients. A Personal Chef will schedule a cooking session with each client and prepare several meals for them during that session. The cooking, which is tailored to client’s tastes and nutritional requirements, is done in the client’s home.

Q. What should I ask my Personal Chef?

A. You want to be sure that your Personal Chef is a professional and a good match for your needs. A basic list of questions includes:

	Are You a Member of a Professional Association?
	Where Did You Receive Your Experience?
	Do You Have a " Safe Food Handler's" Certificate?
	Are you a registered business?
	Do You Carry Liability Insurance?
	Do You Have a List of References?

Q. How long will you be here?

A. Preparation of five entrees and complementary side dishes can take anywhere from four to eight hours. This will vary depending on how many meals are being prepared. Chef Angela will ensure cooking dates fit compatibly with you schedule.

Q. How often will we need your service?

A. The time between scheduled cooking dates will vary depending on how many entrees are ordered, how often you choose to dine in or eat out and other lifestyle habits. The service is very flexible and Chef Angela can recommend a session plan specific to your needs.
